Description of the problem | I was driving approximately 20-25 mph on a residential street and i noticed my car was making a strange noise, the radio shut off then the car shut down completely. I call for roadside assistance and had my car towed to the dealership where i purchased it and after a week they finally diagnosed it being my alternator which had completely drained my battery, so both had to be replaced. My car only had 38000 miles and i was told that i just had went over my warranty mileage and had to pay out of pocket 1168. 00 for alternator and battery. After doing research i found that some 2012 models had recalls for alternators but was told my car was not on the recall list. |
