Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 dodge charger. While driving approximately 75 mph, the sensor lights on the instrument panel suddenly illuminated before the vehicle completely shut off. An independent mechanic was called to the scene and diagnosed that the alternator was faulty. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 14v634000 (electrical system). The contact stated that the vehicle experienced the same failure listed in the recall. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 98,000. |
