Description of the problem | On 3 september i took my dodge charger into butler chrysler jeep dodge, of beaufort. Sc 29902 (843 524 9696) for the recall notice i received for a recall, pertaining to the side air bags. I received the car back, and was told that the problem is fixed. On 20 september, as i was driving the air bag indicator light came on and is constantly on. I called butler chrysler, and explained the issue i was having and was told that the light being on is not part of the recall. I told them the light was not on when i came in, and if they had competent mechanic, the light shouldn't be on now. They offered me a courtesy check on the light, however in repair is needed i will have to pay for it. I feel this is a huge scam to pay for a recall. I will refuse to pay for any repair to the air bag indicator, because i did not do anything to make the lights come on. Please help. Thanks, |
