Description of the problem | I was backing my car out of the driveway when it suddenly shut down. The dodge company said there was a recall on the alternator and it needs to replace. After doing the replacement they said my battery was also needed to replaced but because there is a chance that the battery damage was either done by usage or by the alternator they will not replace the battery. The mechanic at dodge dealer said " through his experience that when a alternator can damage a battery , they will not replace the battery. Through his 14 years experience dodge will not replace the battery. " |
