Description of the problem | A recall was performed in 2015 regarding a timing chain failure. This car sat in a dealer lot for an extended period of time. I purchased the vehicle and rarely drive it. A timing chain failure stalled me in the middle of the interstate. A chronic issue according to most forums, even after the recall was performed. The car has less than 73,000 miles on it and should not have failed regardless of months,of the fact that it was more than 24 months. It is a very low mileage car for the year and this is on ongoing issue from these vehicles from 2009-2012. |
