Description of the problem | 2010 challenger srt8 - car shut down at red light. It has only happened once, but from the research i have done on the internet, it has been happening to others who own this model and year car. I contacted a local dodge dealership and was told that they were not aware of any problem such as this and they would not be able to find out what was causing unless the engine malfunction light came on. My husband thinks that this is a computer problem and has something to do with the oil pressure sensor not communicating properly to the computer and when the oil pressure drops, it causes the engine to cut off. This is a safety issue and i am almost afraid to drive my care now because i do not know if this could happen at high speed. |
