Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2005 chrysler crossfire. While the vehicle was parked outside, the rear windshield fell out without warning. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that it was an unknown occurrence. The manufacturer instructed the contact not to call nhtsa and allow the matter to be handled between the contact and the manufacturer. The contact called joe cecconi's chrysler complex at 716-297-5800 (located at 2380 military rd, niagara falls, ny 14304) and was informed that the failure was not a known occurrence. The technician stated that such a failure could only be age related due to wear and tear of the vehicle, and high humidity temperatures. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 17,000. |
