Description of the problem | As i was pulling out of my parking space after work, the rear window of my convertible fell into the passenger compartment of the car. Scared the hell out of me. Fortunately i wasn't going very quickly or i might have lost control of the car. Got the car home and looked the issue up on the internet and was surprised to find that apparently this is a common problem with this car, chrysler knows about it, but will not do anything about the problem. Their answer is to install a new roof at $3,800. I consider this a safety issue because a piece of glass coming loose like that in a moving vehicle can cause a real problem. |
