Description of the problem | I just bought this car. The cup holder is stuck in the vertical position right where my elbow goes when controlling the shifter thus making it difficult and possibly dangerous to do so. I went on the internet to investigate this issue and found hundreds of complaints from crossfire owners of all years about this very thing. Chrysler will do nothing about it including just disconnecting the spring on the cup holder so that it will stay down. The fix is over $300 if you get chrysler to do it, and they install the same defective part again. Not a good fix. I think it is dangerous, very distracting while driving. |
