Description of the problem	The rotary shifter functions in a manner that when exiting the car it will allow you to leave the vehicle while in gear as when pushing the start button will not turn off the engine unless it is in park, it is easy to forget or otherwise notice the vehicle is still in gear and running when exiting the vehicle, it happened to my wife and could have caused more harm than what actually happened as it was stopped by a truck parked ahead of her!
