Description of the problem | I was told that the a/c evaporator unit is not working and needs to be replaced. Service advisor at hemet chrysler also stated that chrysler sent out a part bulletin on this part since they are known to fail, that chrysler will be replacing the part at the end of year with new part. This is my third chrysler vehicle that is having the same issue. I currently own 2015 dodge charger, 2015 dodge durango, and 2016 chrysler 300s that i'm having issues with. I did contact chrysler for some assistance since it's a $2700 repair since my vehicle is no longer under warranty and since i'm having the same issue in all three cars. Their needs to be a recall for this part since i think they know of heir a/c units are failing. |
