Description of the problem | After the recall of july 2019 to address issue with rotary shifter, i started having issue with reverse not engaging, takes several attempts by turning car off, etc to get it to go into reverse. Has been to dealer 4 times, no check engine light or codes, said that there was nothing that they could do. I called chrysler customer service and filed a complaint. They contacted the dealer and were told that they could not find any problem. Chrysler ask that i take the car to the dealer and leave it until it locked up on them. The problem is intermittent, sometimes several days, they would not provide a loaner and we cannot afford a rental for what could be days to weeks, so chrysler closed the case because we would not cooperate. |
