Description of the problem | While vehicle is on and running "service air bag system" message randomly appears and disappears when the vehicle is in park or in motion. Service air bag indicator light also illuminates randomly after message is displayed and then goes out after a random amount of time has elapsed. Took vehicle to local chrysler dealership and they said that it maybe be one of several known issues that they are aware of but no recalls have been issued on any of the possible safety issues that maybe causing the notification. They would not be able to do anything to the vehicle to fix the problem for sure and guarantee the air bags actually will work when needed. |
