Description of the problem | I contacted the dealership the previous wednesday to let them know that the car was shifting erratically. It would not shift when it should, instead the car would drop out of gear then hang open for a moment before it would slam into the next gear. I contacted the dealership and they said i could stop in the next wednesday (1/14/15). On the 13th i was making the first turn from my home and the car would not shift from first gear. I called the dealership and they had me come in. My house was only a couple miles away so i drove in there while staying under 20mph. My concern now is that the car shifts but not in the same way it did when it was first bought. I don't know if this is good or bad and what other damage could have been caused by the hard slamming of the gears. |
