Description of the problem	Driver has been experiencing problems with backup camera since the car was purchased in 2016. Originally, the camera would just go in and out. A black screen would show up on the monitor once the car was put into reverse. This was mentioned to the dealership multiple times, but the camera would never act up when i was at the dealership. The driver was also told that an update would eventually solve the problem, which it did not. When the car is put into reverse now, the picture on the monitor from the back up camera is actually flipped on the monitor. So what is actually on the right side of the car, shows up on the left side. Recently when getting recalls for the vehicle taken care of, the driver found out that the back up camera was previously repaired in 2015. This was prior to the car being purchased in 2016. These problems were brought up to the dealership, telegraph chrysler jeep dodge in taylor, mi. The back up camera was brought up to the dealership when the car was under extended warranty, now it is possible that the warranty has expired. This is a safety concern as the perception in the back up camera could deceive the driver.
