Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 chrysler 300. While traveling approximately 50 mph, the abs warning lamp and the stability traction control warning lamps flashed, the radio went off, and would not turn back on. The vehicle stalled. The contact was able to merge over to the side of the road. The contact also indicated that when the failure occurred, there was a burning smell that caused strong fumes to emit into the interior of the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed and was to be towed to an authorized dealer to determine the failure. The vehicle was also included in nhtsa campaign number: 14v634000 (electrical system). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 79,000. |
