Description of the problem	Yesterday, i came out to my chrysler 300 (2006) to start it and the gear shifts would not work. I could not put the car into drive, neutral, reverse or any other shift. When i notified a chrysler dealer about it i was told that there had in fact been many vehicles with this same problem and they had been recalled. However, when he looked up my vehicle, although it had the same problem was not on the recall list. When i notified chrysler headquarters, they told me the reason was because it was not built in one of the plants the other vehicles were built in. Further more they told me that because my warranty had expired i was unable to get any help. Also because the previous owner may have caused the damage. So when i called them the next day to see if this decision could be overturned they told me my case was closed and would not be reopened. Now, i am stuck paying the bill to get my car fixed in addition to facing a loss for work.
