Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler 300. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle the transmission would not switch from the parked position and the vehicle could not be driven. Upon inspection it was discovered that the transmission shift cylinold spring attachment was faulty. The contact was able to manually adjust the broken piece and drove to the local dealer napoeton chrysler.(140 e. Osceola pky, kissimmee fl) who diagnosed that the transmission shift cable was faulty. The vehicle not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 104,000. |
