Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler 300. Upon entering and starting the vehicle, the contact attempted to shift into drive, but the vehicle failed to shift out of park. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the am shifter transmission needed to be replaced. The independent mechanic informed the contact of a chrysler customer satisfaction notification (k39-transmission shifter interlock lever), but the vehicle was not included. The vehicle was repaired by the independent mechanic.
