Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2006 chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 mph the vehicle began to jerk back and forth. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the transmission was replaced. The failure continued after the repairs. The vehicle was taken to an auto shop where the technicians stated the transmission needed to be replaced a second time. The technicians stated there was a computer failure which was causing the transmission failure. The contact was unaware of the part that needed to be replaced. The dealer was made aware of the failure and stated that the part needed for repair was not available and had to be ordered. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 39,000. |
