Description of the problem | I own a 2006 chrysler 300 and the shifting lever gets stuck in park and wont move. Other times the lever does not properly seat in park, when this happens the vehicle can not be started as it is not fully seated in park. Found recall on 05-06 300's for this issue, was told by chrysler that my car was not part of the recall and there was nothing they could do. Recall states there is an issue with the cup plug that retains the parking pawl shaft and the vehicle may not be able to achieve 'park' position. This has been happening for about 4 weeks now. |
