Description of the problem	Car check engine light comes on briefly, shake, engine shuts off while driving, backing up, or at a stop on several occasions. Problem started in oct 2007. Taken to two different chrysler dealers (whitten bros. & crossroads, va) and told that no code found to show a problem when hooked to the computer. Second dealer experienced problem while test driving my car, but the code resets itself quickly and the dealer is not able to diagnose a problem. I was told that i would have to wait until the car completely stop running and the check engine light comes on and stay on. I have talked to several other 300 owners in my area to discover that they are experiencing the same problem and being told the same thing, but we are to believe that this is a mystery and the dealer has never heard or seen this problem before.
