Description of the problemShifter would not go out of park!(problem is a recall) however, when i contacted chrysler they informed me that my vehicle was not on the list as a recall. Therefore, they would not pay for this issue in full. My vehicle is a 2006 chrysler 300 and i don't understand why my vehicle did not receive a notice in regards to this defect. I don't think that it is fair for some vehicles with this recall to receive free repairs and others don't. Chrysler would not pay for my vehicle to be repaired in full and i was required to pay $100. 00 deductible. This is beyond belief. This repair should have been covered in full by chrysler because it is a recall. It doesn't matter if my vehicle was made in a plant in alabama or north carolina. A recall is a recall. Especially if the problem is the same. Chrysler needs to step up, stop being so rude to customers when they call in and stop denying issues. Peoples lives depend on it. Then on top of that, the csr expedited my issue up to a manager, they did not like the fact that i called to check the status of the outcome. They kept saying it takes 24 business hours. They didn't care that i didn't have a way to work and they handled the situation very lightly with no compassion. As soon as i can get a different vehicle, i will. I will never buy another chrysler product. Their service sucks and they never want to take ownership of any issues. Very, very, very dissatisfied chrysler owner!!!!!!! *kb
