Description of the problem | After filling car with fuel car starts bucking and stalls. Restarts and bucks and stalls a few more times then runs fine until next time we fill up. We cannot fill the fuel tank up or take a serious chance of having car stall in traffic. I have asked chrysler if there was a recall or fix for this and was told by service manger that he was not aware. They suggested that i need fuel tank unit $1,158. 00. I have read that many people are having same problems and only fix is to pay for a new gas tank as this is only fix. Chrysler should fix this for no charge as it is part of the emission system. I'm terrified to have my son in the car that we'll be hurt or killed by this flaw in the fuel tank. I hope we can get some help to get this repaired. Thanks. |
