Description of the problem | All equipment on the dashboard shut down for about 2 minutes. Even though i know i was going somewhere around 55 mph, and trying to stay with traffic, i could not tell my speed, the rpm read zero, the gas level read empty, and my speed read zero. Then all the dashboard lights came on and all was normal again. This repeated maybe 4-5 times in a row. Off for about 2 minutes, on for maybe a minute, then back off. We have experienced all of this happening momentarily (maybe lasting a second) since we bought the car used 1 1/2 years ago. Dealership could not get it to happen for them, so they could do nothing for it. This issue has now escalated to a point that i feel it could be dangerous if it continues, or gets worse. |
