Description of the problem | This is the second time i've had to pay to replace the abs hub (complete axle) due to rust/rotting. When the abs ring rust or rots, the abs module becomes confused and activates intermittently. I was driving the vehicle and the brakes locked intermittently causing a very dangerous situation. I stopped thinking that it would reset something but it happened again. I had to take it to a repair shop once again and now i've had to pay over $1,000 for the rear axles and now $1,000 for the front. Axles have to be replaced each time. These rings should not simply rot and cause a dangerous situation! |
