Description of the problem | Tl* takata recall. The contact owns a 2006 chrysler 300. The contact stated that the service engine warning indicator illuminated randomly several times without warning. The dealer was notified, but was not diagnosed. An independent mechanic diagnosed that a coil spring failed near the top of the motor. In addition, the dealer repaired the vehicle per a recall for nhtsa campaign number: 15v313000 (air bags). For nhtsa campaign number: 16v352000 (air bags), the parts had not been supplied from the manufacturer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was not available.
