Description of the problem | Shifter will not come out of park unless you pull console apart and physically push the spring under the front of the shifter with screwdriver. They have a recall on if not this part a very similar part between the years 2005-2007 which this clearly falls into but is vin specific and they claim doesn't pertain to my vehicle. Funny it is bypassed identically to the people who the recall does cover. Clearly a known flaw by the amount of people complaining about it but they won't do anything. Car is stationary when this occurs. |
