Description of the problem | The engine stalls when coming to a stop such as a stop light or stop sign. The engine also stalls and shuts off when accelerating after stopping. It stopped in the middle of an intersection while turning out of my apartment complex into a busy main road. I was able to coast off of the road and tried to restart. Upon trying to restart it hesitated to turn over and start. It took about 2 minutes before it finally started and it didn't want to accelerate. There was no warning that it was getting ready to stall. After it started up again a message came up saying that the electronic throttle needed to be serviced. This makes the 3rd time it had stalled but the 1st time it has given me any kind of indication why. |
