Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet traverse. The contact stated that while driving 5 mph and making a right turn, there was an abnormal noise coming from the steering wheel. In addition, the brakes made an abnormal noise and excessive force was applied to the brake pedal in order to slow down or stop the vehicle. The failure occurred on two separate occasions. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the steering intermediate shaft and vacuum brake booster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 53,470. |
