Description of the problem | My chevy 2001 tahoes suffered an abs malfunction at low speeds in the summer of 2004. It was repaired at a dealer. In august of 2005 i heard of the recall of 2001 tahoes in 14 northern states for the exact problem my tahoe was in the shop for, the remedy for the recall is exactly what the dealer performed on my car in july 2004. My tahoe will be going back to the dealer 11-25-05 for the same problem again, gm has told me there is nothing they can do since i am not in one of the recall states. Gm has acknowledged that this malfunction can cause accidents since it increases braking distances. I have already spent 300 dollars on the first repair and am looking at spending the same amount again. *jb |
