Description of the problem | My vehicle uses 1 qt of oil every 2000 miles right now, it was every 4,000. So the problem seems to be getting worse. When i shared this with the service department at both chevrolet and chevrolet, their response was that my issue was still with in specifications. I didn't realize that oil consumption was acceptable. Gm, instead of fixing the problem appear to be ignoring it. I have an 06 chevy silverado that has never used a qt of oil.
