Description of the problem	Was in a turn lane following a vehicle going slightly uphill rolling up to an intersection to make a left. The vehicle in front of me made their turn and while i was still rolling i checked oncoming traffic. There was a vehicle coming in the other direction, but i too had time to make the turn in front of the oncoming vehicle. I stepped on the accelerator and it did nothing for what seemed like a half of a second before finally accelerating. It was as if it was the old days when we had a badly tuned carburetor and the engine bogged before finally taking off. Only, the truck doesn't bog, it just doesn't respond as quickly as it should all the time. I had the vehicle in "drive" so perhaps it was running in v4 and/or in the middle of a transmission shift or downshift. Regardless, an accelerator that does not respond the same way every time but varies depending on driving conditions is in my opinion dangerous.
