Description of the problem | I don't like the auto locks on all the doors. If you don't put the truck in park, the doors will not unlock, and if the kids pull the handle before i put in park, you have to go outside the truck and open the door. I have turned off all the locks and it still does it, and the dealership says that is just the way they are made now. If i was in an accident and the car was still in gear, my kids would be trapped in the truck, because even hitting the unlock buttons will not open the doors. This is very concerning, i can't even drop the kids off at school in the line because i have to put the truck in park in order for the doors to unlock and that is after i hit the unlock button to get them to unlock. This is very scary to my wife and i. What can be done? Thanks. |
