Description of the problem	Tlthe contact owns a 2008 chevrolet silverado. The contact stated that the door lock actuator on the front drivers side does not operate on the automated system. The door lock failed to open automatically when the vehicle was in the park position. He also stated that the remote entry does not work. The dealer stated that they have not had enough complaints to issue a recall. The dealer also stated that the vehicle could repaired at the owners expense. The owner was concerned that if the vehicle was involved in a crash and the doors would not open, trapping the occupants inside of the vehicle.
