Description of the problemI bought my 2014 silverado new . After 10,000 miles i could hear something in the drivetrain between 2nd and 3 rd gear make a moaning sound . Brought it to the dealership and couldn't find anything . This went on until 141,000 miles and the transmission came out . Had it rebuilt for $ 3,700. 00 and was told the torque converter caused the problem . Now i'm at 181,000 and we are hoping it's the tcm inside the transmission but if not who knows what this will cost . I think gm should be responsible for defective torque converters as i have read more customers have had the same problem . It would be nice to see some kind of reimbursement . I love my truck and have owned nothing but gm vehicles but this should not happen twice .
