Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 chevrolet silverado 1500. While driving approximately 5 mph, the air conditioner failed to function. The vehicle was taken to sisbarro buick gmc (425 w boutz rd, las cruces, nm 88005, phone number: (800) 215-8021) where it was diagnosed that the freon line had a hole coming from the condenser and needed to be replaced. The dealer informed the contact that the vehicle had a design flaw and was waiting for a bracket that goes to the line from the compressor. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to nhtsa. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000. |
