Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet silverado 1500. While driving approximately 20-35 mph, the vehicle abnormally accelerated. The contact applied the brakes and shifted into neutral. The failure recurred three times and the vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. The dealer advised that the contact has possibly engaged the cruise control haphazardly, causing the failure. The dealer neither inspected the vehicle nor performed a diagnostic test. The failure persisted and also, the vehicle would exhibit a delay in decelerate for at least four seconds after disengaging the brakes. The vehicle was taken to the dealer a second time yet the contact was advised that the failure was normal for the vehicle and was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 6,000. |
