Description of the problem | Transmission cooling lines are leaking where rubber hose is crimped onto metal hose, gm part #25999419. Dealer is aware of issue, and states it is very common, but would not replace under warranty. Vehicle is less than 3 years old but has 47,xxx miles on it and the warranty is only 3 years / 36,000 miles. If the line busts, it could cause the transmission to stop shifting and would be unsafe as automatic transmission fluid would leak everywhere. |
