Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2005 chevrolet silverado 1500. While driving 75 mph on a cross country trip, the abs indicator illuminated. The dealer stated that the inboard retention nut that was used to maintain the hub bearing assembly loosened, which resulted in the abs indicator illuminating, noise, and/or wheel separation. The vin was not included in nhtsa campaign id number 07e106000 (wheels:cap/cover/hub). The manufacturer and dealer stated that the repair would cost $711. The contact will pay for the repair, but feels that his vehicle should be included in the recall since the failures are identical. The failure mileage was 61,764.
