Description of the problem | I was driving down the street and went to press the brakes and the pedal went to the floor. I needed to downshift and coast to get the truck to stop. My truck is a 2005 chevy silverado 1500, ext cab, 4x4. Truck is now in shop getting fixed. $1000 to repair something that should not have failed in the first place. Stainless steel lines ($40 more for gm) would have prevented the issue. I am glad i was not in a high traffic area where other cars could have been involved. |
