Description of the problem | Purchased 2005 brand new from dealer. I am familiar with what to do to break-in a new vehicle. I occasionally cross a mountain, and when i apply the brakes lightly, they immediately start to pulsate very noticeably. To get them to stop pulsating, i must apply the brakes fairly hard. This happens all the time on hills/mountains. I was hoping that this would work itself out with time. I presently have 21,000 miles on the truck. I am the only driver since new and it has never seen winter here in pennsylvania. I rotate the tires every 5,000 miles and that hasn't made any difference. I have inspected the brakes and they look fine. The brakes are very strong on this silverado. |
