Description of the problem | My 2005 chevy silverado 1500 z71 has rear drum brakes. Due to shimmy when breaking in april 2008, we replaced rear brakes pads. When replacing them, it was discovered that they were originally installed wrong. They were then put together correctly and have had serious issues ever since. I have replaced brake pads and drums twice in the past year and a half. And still, it needs to be done again. I have had it to two different shops. The brakes seem to be consistently hot causing the shoes to fall apart. |
