Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2005 chevrolet silverado 1500. The contact stated that while driving 75 mph, he noticed in the rear view mirror that the vehicle was on fire. He pulled over and noticed that wires on top of the gas tank were the source of the fire. The fire department was called and extinguished the fire. The contact had plans to have the vehicle towed to a dealer. The manufacturer was notified but offered no assistance. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure and current mileage was 93,000. |
