Description of the problem | Driving down the road and the cab filled up with smoke. It smelled like burning rubber. I had to evacuate my youngest son and found that the wires on the blower/resistor where on fire. There seems to be a known issue with this and i am surprised that nobody had been killed so far. Looks like the recall was done in canada? Http://www. Arfc. Org/complaints/2005/chevrolet/silverado/electrical_system/problem. Aspx. |
