Description of the problem | As we were driving down the street black smoke started to come out of the air conditioning vents. Then i noticed flames and melted plastic coming out of the bottom of the glove box area. We pulled our child from the burning truck and called 911. Fire trucks were there in less than 4 minutes but by that time the entire passenger cab was engulfed in flames and there were at least two separate explosions that blew out all the windows, my husband thinks that the airbags exploded. The truck is a complete loss and we are lucky to have escaped with only minor injuries. We could have been killed or seriously injured. |
