Description of the problem	The speedometer in my 2005 silverado acts erratically. Reads incorrect speed. Will stop on 80mph when vehicle is standing still. I can no longer rely on the speedometer to accurately display current speed. From online research i found that this is an ongoing problem, since 2003. My truck has approximately 66,000 miles on it currently. The problem first started at around 60,000 miles. It creates an unsafe condition, since i can not determine the correct vehicle speed.
