Description of the problem | Driving to work on i-80. Speedometer just went to zero. Stopped at rest stop and called my mechanic to ask if possible blown fuse. Was told that this was controlled by computer. Needed to get to work and started again and speedometer was now working again. I now have a gps system that shows my speed because i cannot go 30 miles before my speedometer ether goes to zero or now indicates that i'm going 120 mph. I have a 2005 chevy silverado and was told that there was no recall for this problem but from what i have found on the web it seems to be a major problem. |
