Description of the problem | Closed the driver door on car, heard a what sounded like an explosion from over head. Discovered that rear sunroof panel had exploded, glass pieces had fallen onto sliding visor panel. Had been sitting stationary in the sun. I took it to the dealer. Without question they said it was a warranty item (car 2 months old). Was told by dealership personnel that this was the second exploded panel they have seen this week on a gm vehicle. While driving to the dealership, glass shards flew off the roof scratching the rear deck painted surface. |
