Description of the problem | The hmi module has gone out. This affects the rear view camera and the entire display. Secondly, since then the power steering has also gone out on the car while in motion!! It went out suddenly. Brand new battery still not resolved. These problems are both electrical and seem to be now common problems. Gm should issue recall as this can cause major accident and loss of life. The absence of rear camera makes vehicle out of compliance with the laws stating that all later models should have camera. There is nothing that can cause these problems. It is simply a defect in the electrical system design. These problems cost thousands of dollars to fix and usually don't malfunction till after warranty has expired. |
